Volatile Markets

For the past few weeks, equity as well as commodity and currency markets are witnessing volatile trading sessions with Dow Jones behaving like a pendulam! Industrial commodities like copper, alumunium, zinc, lead are also witnessing weakness and are at their annual lows. Gold and silver are however displaying strength and are very close to their all time heighs. Dollar is showing consistent weakness due to larger than expected subprime losses and a slowing consumer demand. Also aiding low confidance is high energy and food prices. Equities world wide are trading with huge volatility and is a concern for both traders as well as investors.
